I am hugely grateful to have become a member of a community of practice in Kincentric Leadership https://www.kincentricleadership.org. During the next 12, along with approximately eighty fellow explorers from all quarters of the world, I will be experimenting and learning how to bridge nature connection and leadership practice.
I am looking forward to sharing how we braid indigenous wisdom and modern knowledge so as to build a future that regenerates human and more than human life, communities and systems. More specifically how will we weave together relations between human and all other life forms into a kincentric community that enhances thriving life.
I carry questions regarding the place of reverse mentoring, eldership rites of passage and walking with people into the sacredness of our forests. Learns ways to actively listen to that inner voice that knows the path, knows the way. The words of Ursula Le Guin guiding me ...
"I see her walking
on a path through a pathless forest
or a maze, a labyrinth.
As she walks, she spins
and the fine threads fall behind her
following her way,
telling
where she is going,
telling
where she has gone.
Telling a story.
The line, the thread of voice,
the sentences saying the way."
